Giovanni Baronzio (d. before 1362) was an artist from Rimini, Italy. Although his art reveals the influence of the Florentine painter Giotto, who worked in Rimini, the decoative style and flattened figures in this painting are rooted in the earlier traditions of Byzantine art. The painting features several scenes from Christ's early life.
